Oakdale Public Services Office Is Closed Fridays; Road and Water Problems Can Be Reported Online

OAKDALE — November 2, 2026. Oakdale’s Public Services Department handles streets, sewers, water, parks maintenance and building or neighborhood concerns but provides counter and phone assistance only Monday through Thursday.

Where responsibilities fall

The city department lists public works, engineering, planning, streets, stormwater, wastewater treatment, parks maintenance and water conservation as its operating areas. Property-specific permit requirements should be checked with the responsible division.

Office-hours limitation

Oakdale lists Monday–Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for Public Services and indicates it is closed on Fridays. The city offers a My Oakdale CA app for reporting infrastructure concerns outside those hours.

When hazards are urgent

Residents should include the exact intersection and description for potholes, leaks and damaged public facilities. A reporting app does not replace emergency services for a life-threatening situation.
